Membership terms.

Plain language. No surprises. Read these before you apply.

Acceptance

By applying for or using Two, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not apply.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and Two. We may update them from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age. You must be genuinely seeking a serious, committed relationship with the intention of marriage. You must be legally permitted to marry in your jurisdiction.

You must have no convictions for violent offences, sexual offences, or offences involving dishonesty or fraud, including any such matters currently before the courts. Spent convictions that are not required to be disclosed under applicable law need not be declared. By applying, you declare that this is the case and you consent to us conducting verification checks to confirm it. Any member found to have provided false information will be permanently removed.

Membership is by application only. We reserve the right to decline any application without providing a reason.

You may hold only one active account. Creating multiple accounts will result in permanent removal from the platform.

The service

Two is an introduction service. We propose one introduction at a time, subject to review and approval. You have no right to a specific number of introductions within any time period.

All match proposals are reviewed and approved by a human matchmaker before being delivered to you.

We do not provide therapy, counselling, or relationship advice. We facilitate introductions only.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Your conduct

You agree to represent yourself honestly at all times: in your application, your profile, and your interactions with other members.

You agree to treat other members with respect. Harassment, dishonesty, or behaviour that a reasonable person would find offensive will result in immediate removal.

You agree not to share another member's personal information, contact details, or photographs with any third party without their explicit consent.

You agree not to use the platform for any purpose other than seeking a genuine introduction.

Membership and billing

Membership fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are set out in your membership agreement at the time of approval. These terms are incorporated by reference.

All fees are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Matching will not run while your membership subscription is inactive.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and software on this platform is owned by or licensed to Two. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of it without our written permission.

By submitting your application and profile, you grant us a limited licence to use that information solely to operate the service.

Limitation of liability

We do not guarantee that you will find a match, form a relationship, or marry as a result of using Two. We provide an introduction service, not an outcome.

Two facilitates introductions between members but has no control over the conduct of members during or after those introductions. We are not responsible for any harm, loss, injury, or damage (including physical, emotional, or financial) that arises from interactions between members, whether in person or otherwise. You engage with other members entirely at your own risk.

If your conduct, breach of these terms, or interactions with other members result in a claim being made against Two, you agree to cover any resulting losses, damages, costs, and legal fees incurred by Two in connection with that claim.

The service is provided on an "as is" basis without any warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Termination

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at hello@two.app.

We may suspend or terminate your membership immediately if you breach these terms, provide false information, or behave in a way that is harmful to other members or to the integrity of the service.

Upon termination, your personal information will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first at hello@two.app so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may refer it to mediation before a mutually agreed mediator.

If mediation fails, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining terms will continue in full force.

These terms, together with your membership agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Two. They supersede any prior representations, discussions, or understandings.
